Pastor Clint was born and raised in Bethany, Oklahoma(Yes, he is an OU fan!). He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University with a degree in Religion and minor in Philosophy and Psychology. He also graduated with a Masters of Art in Religion from Southern Nazarene University in 2004. He is currently working on his D.Min. in Spiritual Formation from Nazarene Theological Seminary.
Pastor Bridget grew up in Baton Rouge Louisiana. She is also a graduate of Southern Nazarene University with a degree in Psychology. In 2009 Bridget fully accepted God's call on her life to full-time ministry and In 2016 was ordained as an Elder in the church of the Nazarene.
Before accepting their call to Spokane Bethel in Dec. 2022, Pastor Clint served as a Youth Pastor/ Associate in Kingfisher, OK and Sherwood, Arkansas and as the Senior Pastor in Bethany, OK, Kennewick, WA and Arlington, TX and Bridget served as an interim Youth Pastor in Wickes, AR, Worship Pastor in Bethany, OK, Worship/Children's Pastor in Kennewick, WA and Children's Pastor/Co-Pastor in Arlington, TX.
Clint and Bridget have two amazing daughters and one fantastic son-in law. Their eldest daughter, Leah, and her husband Casey, are both Masters of Divinity students at Duke University. Their youngest daughter, Julia, is currently a sophomore at Southern Nazarene University- majoring in Psychology.
Clint loves running, fantasy football, playing cards and watching movies with his family. Clint also loves Bible quizzing and has 12 books of the New Testament memorized. Bridget loves walking, reading, singing, tiling, and doing various household projects. She loves acquiring new tools and learning new skills.
Pastor Ryan is our Youth and Worship Pastor. He has been volunteering with the Bethel Youth since 2012, and became the Youth and Worship Pastor in September of 2017. Ryan was born and raised in the Spokane area. He is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in Secondary Social Studies Education with two minors (English and English as a Second Language). Ryan also graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Youth, Children, and Family Ministry from Northwest Nazarene University. Ryan is married to Carrie, and they have two sons, Landon and Lucas, and 2 foster daughters. They also have a cat, Silvie, and 1 dog, Willow. Ryan enjoys working on and talking about cars, playing video games, building Lego, watching anything Star Wars related, hosting Nerf wars, songwriting, singing, and playing his various instruments.
Pastor Sonya is one of our volunteer pastors. She began at Bethel in 1994 as church secretary. Not long after that, she sensed God’s call on her life to pursue Church Administration as a ministry and vocation. Sonya was ordained in 2006 as a minister in the Church of the Nazarene. Sonya is also a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University with degrees in Business Administration and Office Management. As a trained facilitator with Abuse Recovery Ministry & Services, Sonya leads a weekly group for women who have been victims of domestic abuse. In her spare time, you can find Sonya investing into the lives of women through Mary Kay, cooking, canning and caring for her home, loving her family (Daren-husband of 37 years; Lydia, Dawson, Morgan, Siler, Molly, and Sadie; Carrie, Ryan, Landon & Lucas; John & Tara), playing the piano and singing, reading a variety of books, and seeing as much baseball as she can (go Spokane Indians! and Seattle Mariners!).
Pastor Shelton is one of our volunteer pastors and leads the Young Adult Sunday School class. He has been at Bethel since May 2011 after he moved here from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He met his wife, Bethany, here at Bethel! He is a graduate of Nazarene Bible College with a degree in Pastoral Ministry and was ordained in 2019 as a minister in the Church of the Nazarene. When he is not spending time with kids or young adults, he enjoys being with his wife, Bethany, son John Paul, 2 dogs (Blaze, Standard Poodle and Ace, German Shepherd) and other family. He enjoys playing football, basketball, going to the shooting range and just being around people.
