Pastor Ryan is our Youth and Worship Pastor. He has been volunteering with the Bethel Youth since 2012, and became the Youth and Worship Pastor in September of 2017. Ryan was born and raised in the Spokane area. He is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a degree in Secondary Social Studies Education with two minors (English and English as a Second Language). Ryan also graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Youth, Children, and Family Ministry from Northwest Nazarene University. Ryan is married to Carrie, and they have two sons, Landon and Lucas, and 2 foster daughters. They also have a cat, Silvie, and 1 dog, Willow. Ryan enjoys working on and talking about cars, playing video games, building Lego, watching anything Star Wars related, hosting Nerf wars, songwriting, singing, and playing his various instruments.

Pastor Sonya is one of our volunteer pastors. She began at Bethel in 1994 as church secretary. Not long after that, she sensed God’s call on her life to pursue Church Administration as a ministry and vocation. Sonya was ordained in 2006 as a minister in the Church of the Nazarene. Sonya is also a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University with degrees in Business Administration and Office Management. As a trained facilitator with Abuse Recovery Ministry & Services, Sonya leads a weekly group for women who have been victims of domestic abuse. In her spare time, you can find Sonya investing into the lives of women through Mary Kay, cooking, canning and caring for her home, loving her family (Daren-husband of 37 years; Lydia, Dawson, Morgan, Siler, Molly, and Sadie; Carrie, Ryan, Landon & Lucas; John & Tara), playing the piano and singing, reading a variety of books, and seeing as much baseball as she can (go Spokane Indians! and Seattle Mariners!).
